How to choose the right hose clamp for your application?

Different hoses carry a different fluid with different applications, low pressure, middle pressure, high pressure.

For low pressure application

we can choose O clips,ear clamp, spring clamps, rubber-lined P clamps, wire clamps. etc.

The most economical form of hose clamp, O Clips work perfectly for the assembly of simple hoses, carrying air and fluid only. They are more flexible with their fitting than other hose clamps, as well as tamper-proof.

For medium pressure application

we can choose worm gear clamps, German type hose clamps, bridge clamps, American type hose clamps.

Worm drive clamps are the more traditional selection for securing hoses. They are perfect for clamping silicone hoses and rubber hoses thanks to the “slot free” smooth band.

For high pressure application in heavy industry

we can choose T Bolt clamps, high torque clamps, robust clamps, power clamps, etc.

T Bolt clamps are commonly used for high pressure applications where other clamps simply pop off. They are also strong enough for clamping Exhausts and are ideal for use for turbos and Intercoolers.

We call them W4 hose clamps.

SS316 (18/10) stainless steel hose clamps with the highest corrosion resistance, are the hose clamps of preference in shipbuilding and maintenance when the highest level of corrosion resistance is demanded.
