How to install and remove a spring clamp?

Spring hose clamps are widely used in automobile oil circuits and are well received by users. The working principle of the steel band automotive spring hose clamps is different from other clamps. It can adjust the tightening hose adaptively, and it can compensate for the gap that occurs more directly.

After tightening under normal temperature conditions, the elastic steel belt is unfolded in a high temperature environment; at low temperature, the energy of the elastic steel belt is released, and the hose is tightened again. The advantage of this kind of elastic hose clamp is that it can protect the hose very well and will not damage the surface of the hose. Therefore, it is very suitable for the connection of softer hoses, which saves us a lot of manpower and to a certain extent. We have saved a lot of expenses. In addition, stainless steel clamps also have many classifications, such as double steel wire stainless steel clamps, phosphor bronze stainless steel clamps, galvanized stainless steel clamps and so on. Clamps are used for connecting gases, liquids, etc., and are widely used in industrial production.

A round shape is stamped from spring hose steel at one time, with two ears for hand pressing on the outer ring. When you need to clamp, you only need to press both ears hard to make the inner ring bigger before it can be inserted into the round tube, and then loosen the handle to clamp.

How to choose the spring hose clamp

The constant tension hose clamp has no clamping force in its natural state. The clamping force needs to be inserted into a round tube one size larger than the inner ring size.

For example, a round tube with an outer diameter of 11MM needs to use a clamp that is 10.5 in its natural state, and it can be clamped by sleeve. It depends on the texture of the tube. The classification of constant tension hose clamps is distinguished by the thickness of the belt, which are ordinary spring loaded hose clamps and reinforced spring action hose clamps. The material thickness is 1-1.5MM for ordinary automotive spring hose clamps. 1.5-2.0MM and above are reinforced spring hose clamps.

As a professional China hose clamp manufacturer, we recommend you choose the 51CrV4 spring action hose clamps,51CrV4 is a high strength quench and tempering steel suitable for quenched and tempered springs, suitable for different applications and material thicknesses.

Spring hose clamp characteristics

The 360° inner ring is precisely designed, a complete circle is uniform after sealing, and the sealing performance is even better.

No burr edge material treatment, effectively prevent pipeline damage.

After effective dehydrogenation treatment, there is no need to worry about breakage and other issues for long-term use.

According to European standard surface treatment, the salt spray test can reach more than 800 hours.

Easy to install.

After 36 hours of continuous elasticity test, high-strength mechanical properties are guaranteed.

Installation method

Check the axis line of the pipeline, make the center lines of the two pipes coincide, install the upper and lower clamps on the outside of the sealing ring at the interface, and clamp the ears of the spring band hose clamp with hose clamp pliers to make the inner ring larger and the clamp can be set After the inlet tube is placed in a suitable position, release the handle and the spring band hose clamp will automatically clamp. The installation is complete.

Remove the spring hose clamp

Find the two prongs protruding from the round surface of the clip. Take a pair of hose clamp pliers and adjust them to a setting that allows them to spread as wide as the distance between the pins. Put the two ears of the spring hose clamp on the parts where the two pointed ends can be stuck to squeeze them together, and the diameter of the clamp will increase. Continue to maintain the pressure of the caliper and operate the clamp back and forth until it can be removed.
