Worm Gear Hose Clamps-Non-perforated Clamps(Embossed Band Clamps)

Author: Site Editor     Publish Time: 2020-12-24      Origin: Site

Non-perforated (embossed) clamps are universal worm gear clamps, sometimes called worm drive clamps. They have universal non-perforated tapes with high tensile strength. The wide belt hole is not perforated and has a smooth inside with curled edges. This can eliminate hose damage and increase clamping force.

It has strong versatility and can be used in industrial applications such as automobiles and ships.

The tightening ability is strong and will not slack over time.

We provide two types of non-hole hose clamps: German type embossed hose clamps and American type embossed hose clamps.

It can prevent the soft silicone hose from being cut or squeezed during installation and final tightening, which can maintain the integrity of the connection and provide a more stable seal. Avoid damaging the hose during installation. Embossing can increase friction and ensure the tightness of the connection. It is an ideal choice for silicone and other soft hoses.

The function and performance of these clamps are like traditional worm gear clamps, which can be installed in a narrow space and tightly fixed over time. Embossed worm gear clamps meet or exceed DIN 3017 standards.

The non-perforated clamp wide cross saddle provides a more uniform support structure during installation and has a longer belt tension. Material specification and clamping range The material specification and clamping range are printed on the clamping belt for easy identification and correct installation.

  • Wide cross saddle helps maintain long-term tension

  • The material specification and clamping range are marked on the fixture for easy identification.

  • Material, clamping range and your logo are stamped on clamp band.

  •  Meets or exceeds DIN 3017 standard.

There are a variety of materials for non-perforated hose clamps.

304 stainless steel can withstand high temperature of 800℃, with good processing performance and high toughness, it is widely used in industry and furniture decoration industry and food and medical industry.

304 is a universal stainless steel, which is widely used to make equipment and parts that require good comprehensive performance (corrosion resistance and formability).

The work hardening rate of 304 stainless steel is moderate. Suitable for general cold processing.

Due to the addition of molybdenum, 316 stainless steel has excellent corrosion resistance, atmospheric corrosion resistance and high temperature strength, and can be used under harsh conditions; it has excellent work hardening (non-magnetic). 316 stainless steel has stronger corrosion resistance than 304 stainless steel and is suitable for sea water and chemical media. 316 stainless steel hose clamps are also called Marine Embossed Non-Perforated Worm Gear Clamps.

The hardness of 430 stainless steel is not as good as that of 304 stainless steel. Mainly used in room temperature environments such as building decoration, some home appliance parts, kitchen sinks, exterior decoration materials, fuel burner parts, etc. 430 stainless steel does not contain nickel, and the price is lower than 304 and 316 stainless steel.

The casting performance of carbon steel is average, but the mechanical properties are good. High pressure and wear resistance. It can maintain high strength even when polished to a thin material.

Moreover, the thermal conductivity of carbon steel heats up faster.

Tips

Why is stainless steel magnetic?

304 stainless steel belongs to austenitic stainless steel, and austenitic stainless steel is partially or slightly transformed into martensite during cold working. Martensite is magnetic. Therefore, 304 stainless steel may be non-magnetic or slightly magnetic stainless steel due to processing. But it cannot be strong magnetism. 316 stainless steel is completely non-magnetic.

How to identify 304 stainless steel products?

Support 304 stainless steel special detection potion analysis

Support for the analysis of the components of the flower

Support smoke test to simulate actual use environment

What is the commonly used grade of hose clamp stainless steel?

304 stainless steel, outdoor or humid environment, strong corrosion resistance and acid resistance.

316 stainless steel, plus molybdenum. More resistant to corrosion and acid. Especially suitable for seawater with chemical substances.
